A Nightmare on Elm Street Cheats For NES

How to Enter Houses

To enter houses, press Up on the D-pad. You will not be able to enter some of the houses, just move to the next one and try pressing Up on the D-pad to enter it.

Level or House Order

Go into the levels or houses using the following order to be able to complete the game:

1. The first 3 houses (they are random on which you can enter first). Make sure to complete all 3 before moving on.
2. Junk Yard - It's all the way to the right at the end of Elm Street.
3. Elm St. Cemetery - The location before the Junk Yard.
4. Freddy's House - Wooden house before the cemetery with the broken door.
5. Elm St. High School - It's to the left of Freddy's house and is the last level.

Tips

• Make sure to collect every one of Freddy's bones when entering levels. If you don't you'll have to go back to collect them as they are actually needed to progress in the game.
• Collect coffee to avoid entering the dream zone and having to face Freddy.

A Nightmare on Elm Street Game Genie Codes

The following cheat codes are for Game Genie. These can be used on a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) with a Game Genie device or you can use these on any emulator that supports Game Genie Codes. If you want a Game Genie device, you can always check on Amazon for one.
