Artillery Duel is a single-player dueling game in which a player faces off against a CPU, both mounting cannons faced off across a large valley. The challenge comes in adjusting your cannon's aim and trajectory so that it scores a hit on the opponent. A new mountain appears each round, forcing you to change your aim up. The game was first made for the Astrocade, but largely gained popularity on the consoles it was ported to later. Artillery Duel was an early example of a game making clever use of perspective with simple graphics.
