Athena Cheats For NES

Secret Item Upgrades

In the first level, you will eventually come up to a small mushroom that's sitting on its own. This is a little past the double mushroom with the large and smaller one. If you crouch down on top of this little mushroom, you will get free items and upgrades, including a full yellow armor set and the Fire Sword upgrade. This can only be done once, so if you die, you can't claim these items again.

Athena Game Genie Codes

The following cheat codes are for Game Genie. These can be used on a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) with a Game Genie device or you can use these on any emulator that supports Game Genie Codes. If you want a Game Genie device, you can always check on Amazon for one.
