Beetlejuice is a 2D action platformer game based on a movie of the same name. It was developed by Rare and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). There also was a Beetlejuice game released for the Game Boy but it was based on the Beetlejuice cartoon instead of the movie. In the NES version of the game, the player controls Beetlejuice with the ultimate goal of ridding the house of the Deetz family. You must make your way through the house avoiding traps and collecting scare points that you can use for upgrades so you can rid the house of its occupants.
