Ecco the Dolphin Cheats For Genesis

Enable Cheat Menu

To enable the cheat menu, start a new game and move past the intro level to where you have a health and oxygen bar and you can pause the game. Make Ecco turn left or right and pause it when Ecco is looking at the screen. Now, while the game is paused, press Right, B, C, B, C, Down, C, Up. If you entered this cheat code correctly, the cheat menu will appear, giving you access to level select, unlimited health & air (invincibility), sound test, and the ability to teleport.

Password Screen

To get to the password screen or menu in Ecco the Dolphin, swim left in the starting area.

Unlimited Air & Sonar

To get infinite or unlimited air and sonar, swim left in the starting area to get the password screen and enter SHARKFIN as the password.

Unlimited Air

To get infinite or unlimited air,  swim left in the starting area to get the password screen and enter LIFEFISH as the password.

Turn Music Off

To turn off the music and just leave the sound effects on, pause the game and press A five times.

Level Passwords

To enter level passwords,  swim left in the starting area to get the password screen and enter one of the level passwords below to get the desired effect.

Ecco the Dolphin Game Genie Codes

The following cheat codes are for Game Genie. These can be used on a Sega Genesis with a Game Genie device or you can use these on any emulator that supports Game Genie Codes. If you want a Game Genie device, you can always check on Amazon for one.
