Gauntlet Cheats For NES

Passwords

To access the password input screen, go to the player number selection screen and hold A, press Start and let go of A. Now on the character selection screen, you will see a password input option at the bottom of the screen.

Stop Stun Blocks

If you happen to walk into a block on the floor that stuns you, pause and unpause the game and it will immediately release you from the stun.

Hidden Exits

If you hit the walls or blocks on levels 1, 5, 79, and 94 you will find a hidden exit. For instance, in level 1 head to the upper right corner and you will see a block protruding from the wall. If you hit this block, you will reveal a secret exit that will take you to level 5.

Reset Game

To use the in-game reset without having to hit the console reset, press Select + Start + A + B. If you press them all at the same time the game will reset to the title screen.

Gauntlet Game Genie Codes

The following cheat codes are for Game Genie. These can be used on a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) with a Game Genie device or you can use these on any emulator that supports Game Genie Codes. If you want a Game Genie device, you can always check on Amazon for one.
