Harvest Moon Cheats For SNES

Keep It At 6 AM

If you would like to clear most of your field on the first day of taking over the farm, after the prologue and getting your dog, don't go into any building. Instead, throw all of the weeds on the floor and all the of the small rocking into one of the ponds. This will keep you from running out of stamina and the time will stay at 6 AM using this glitch.

See Current Game Ending

If you want to see what your game-ending will look like based on your current achievements when writing in your diary to go to sleep, press and hold L + R + Select as soon as it turns dark in the room. If you do this correctly, you will see a cutscene representing the game's ending based on what you have accomplished so far. This might take a few attempts to trigger the event, but remember that the more you do on your farm the better the endings get.

Baby's Gender

If your wife gives birth and it's not the gender that you want, you can take advantage of a glitch to change it. When your wife gives birth, don't name it, instead, go outside and into town and talk to someone who should be at your house. When you come back to your house, you'll notice your wife gave birth again, this time it should be the opposite gender it was previously.

Power Berry Locations

The following are the locations of power berries found in Harvest Moon. They are in no particular order and some can be obtained at any time during the year.

1. The first power berry can be found on your farm, keep plowing the land till you get one. There is no specific location for the berry, it will pop up at random. A good way is to just plow the land where you plan on planting grass.
2. The second power berry can also be found on your farm from plowing the land. This can't be found on the same day as the first power berry obtained from plowing your land.
3. The third power berry can only be obtained after an earthquake hits. Head over to the goddess pond and chop the tree stump to the right, a hole will open up and if you head inside you can obtain the power berry.
4. If you catch a fish and throw it back exactly where you caught it, you can obtain the fourth power berry. This must be the first fish that you caught that day and won't work on others.
5. You can obtain the fifth power berry by chopping tree trunks in the forest. The spawn of the berry is random, so you will eventually come across it.
6. If you smash the chicken statue at the crossroads with your hammer you'll get a power berry from doing so. If you don't get it during your first attempt, leave the area and come back, the statue will respawn.
7. Sometime in the fall, a wandering person will want to trade with you and in exchange, they will give you a power berry. It may not happen your first year but when it does make sure to accept of you will lose the chance to get this power berry.
8. Attend the Harvest Festival on the 12th of fall and bring either a fish or a berry of Fullmoon plant. The berry from the Fullmoon plant can be obtained from on top of Moon Mountain.
9. If you win the Egg Festival on Fall 20th, you'll be awarded a power berry.
10. If you plant a seed of the Snow Flower on the summit of Moon Mountain, you'll be rewarded with a power berry. The Snow Flower seeds can be bought from a salesman at the Flower Festival.
