Killer Instinct is a fighting game developed by Rare and published by Midway for the arcade. It was later ported to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and the Game Boy. Killer Instinct featured pre-rendered graphics which made its graphics more detailed than most of the other games, similar to Donkey Kong Country. Unlike other fighting games, Killer Instinct had a combo system that allowed you to piece attacks together into a larger combo attack. In Killer Instinct the player controls a character that they use to face another opponent in a one-on-one battler, the player who first depletes the opponent's two health bars wins the match.
