Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are a pair of role-playing games for the mainline Pokemon series, serving as its seventh generation of games. The games introduce players to the Alola region, which was inspired by Hawaii in the United States. The games introduce a total of 81 new Pokemon species, bringing the grand total for the entire series to 807 (at least until later games released). New Pokemon also appear in 'Alolan' forms (older generation Pokemon with an Alolan aesthetic). The battle system has some new tweaks like Z-Moves and new training mechanics. As with past games, Pokemon can be traded in between the two versions, as well as other entries. Ultra Sun's Alola region runs the same time of day as real life, and sports the legendary Pokemon Solgaleo with an orange/red color scheme.
