Streets of Rage 3 Cheats For Genesis

Start With Extra Lives

To start with extra lives, head to the options menu and select Lives. On your second controller hold A + B + C and press Left or Right on your first controller. If you did this correctly, you'll be able to select 9 lives to start the game with.

Stage Select

To access the stage or level select, hover, or select Battle on the menu selection screen. Next, press Up + B then press Start on the controller. You will hear a different sound effect if you did this cheat correctly compared to normally selecting options. When the options menu comes up you'll notice that there is a Stage Select option added.

Unlock Roo

To unlock Roo, at the title screen hold Up + B and press Start. If you did this correctly, on the character selection screen there will be a new character, a kangaroo named Roo.

Unlock Shiva

To unlock Shiva as a playable character first beat Shiva at the end of the first level. After landing the final hit, press and hold B + Start until the next level starts. After you lose all your lives and have to continue, Shiva will be on the character selection screen as a playable character.

Play As The Same Character

To play as the same character as your teammate, hold Down + C on the second controller before selecting the 2 player mode on the first controller from the mode selection menu.
