Sunset Riders is a 2D side-scrolling run-and-gun shooter video game developed and released by Konami. It was originally released for the arcade but later ported to the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. In Sunset Riders, the player controls a bounty hunter in the American Wild West, where you have to slay wanted criminals for a reward. The game has four playable characters to choose from, offering two different types of starting weapons. You obtain powerups that make your weapons stronger, shoot more rounds at a time, and shoot more rapidly.
