Super Mario Kart Cheats For SNES

Shrink Your Character

This will allow you to shrink your character before a race and stay the way the whole time while competing in a circuit.  To shrink your character, on the character selection screen, Hold Y and Press A. This will turn your character small similar to when shrunk during a race. To undo this just Hold Y and press A again. This will not affect your character's speed or acceleration but it will allow other players to run over and squish your character, making it harder to race.

Speed Boost

There is a speed boost you can use at take-off right as a race is starting. To use the boost, hold B (acceleration) right before the second light appears and hold the acceleration until the race starts. This will give you a massive boost, giving you a head start in each race. Make sure to take advantage of this, especially if you aren't starting in first place.

Rear View Mirror

When playing single-player, you can change your bottom screen view from the map to a rear-view camera by pressing X or Select. This is convenient when trying to place an item behind you and in the path of another player.

Extra Continue

Finish any 3 races in the same position and you will be rewarded with an extra continue.

Unlockables

Unlock 150cc Circuit

To unlock the 150cc Circuit you must get a  Gold Cup in the Mushroom, Flower, Star and Special Cups playing on the 100cc mode.

Super Mario Kart Game Genie Codes
