Super Mario World Cheats For SNES

Unlimited Lives

If you beat Donut Ghost house using an alternate exit you will unlock the "Top Secret Area" level that you can use to farm unlimited lives. Before you do this, make sure that you have a cape feather and thus are able to fly. Go to the Donut Ghost House and at the very beginning of the level get enough speed to fly up top to a platform sitting above all the ghosts. Follow this platform all the way to the right till you can drop down from there. The next area has a door you can go through that will take you to the end-level goal, this will unlock the secret level above.

If you already have a Yoshi, you can begin farming extra lives, if not make sure to grab him from the middle block once you enter the "Top Secret Area" level. To farm lives just go in, grab a life from the middle block, exit the level, and do it all over again. This is an easy way to farm unlimited lives with very minimal effort.

Unlock Top Secret Area Level

See the first paragraph above in the "Unlimited Lives" section to learn how to unlock the secret level. This level coincides with the trick on have to farm unlimited lives.

Switch Palaces

Switch Palaces will turn all Dotted-Line Blocks into Blocks of that color once you unlock and step on the switch in the palace. The following will show you how to unlock and get to all the Switch Palaces.

Replay Castles

You can replay castles even after you have already beaten them. If you want to replay any castle or fortress you've completed, hold L + R before Mario or Luigi enters.
