Super Metroid is a 2D, action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo (SNES). Super Metroid is the third Metroid game in the series, following the story of the previous two games. In this game, you control a bounty hunter named "Samus Aran" who travels to planet Zebes to get back a Metroid taken by the Space Pirates. Samus starts off with a very basic suit and weapons, players will be able to obtain power-ups that enhance Samus' suit and weapons. As you obtain new power-ups, more areas of the game will become reachable to you.
