Super Smash Bros. is a fighting game from Nintendo and developed by HAL Laboratory. As the game that started it all for the series, Super Smash Bros. was an innovative fighting game for its time, introducing the series' unique take on the genre. Players can choose from several of Nintendo's most iconic characters, such as Mario, Link, Ness, Samus, and more. Rather than use health, Smash Bros. marks player damage in the form of percentages. The higher a player's percentage, the further they fly off the screen when struck. Fly too far off the screen and it's game over for you! The game features both a single-player mode and couch multiplayer for up to four players.
