Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time is a 2D sidescrolling beat 'em up game developed by Konami in the early '90s. The game first made its debut in the arcades before making its way to the SNES the following year. Gameplay supports both single-player and multiplayer up to four people. Character choice is distributed amongst each of the four turtles, all of them having their own strengths, weaknesses, and special moves. The plot sees the gang sent through a time warp by the diabolical Shredder, sending them through present-day, past, and future locales for the stages. Controls were designed to be extremely similar to the TMNT arcade game that came before it, providing a simple scheme on the surface with a lot of depth the more you play.
