The Activision Decathlon is an Atari sports game designed by David Crane. While the game can be played by yourself, it supports up to four players. You proceed through 10 rounds total of various decathlon events, all based on the real-life sporting event. Things like the long jump, 100-meter dash, pole vault, and more are all included. The overarching goal is to get the best time possible for the whole game, which requires some complex inputs and various levels of controller abuse. High scorers back in the day would receive prizes from Atari for their efforts.
