The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare is a 2D video game developed by Sculptured Software and published by Acclaim Entertainment. The game is based on the television show The Simpsons and it was released on the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare follows Bart's strange dreams after he falls asleep while doing his homework. Bart must find his lost pages of homework in his dream world so he can eventually wake up. Bart can use bubble gum to repel enemies, shoot watermelon seeds as a weapon, collect floating Z's that replenish his health and use his skateboard to quickly get around.
