How to Make Stranded Deep Water Still
Water Still
One of the crucial skills to master in the survival game Stranded Deep is obtaining a sustainable source of clean drinking water. While collecting rainwater or finding coconuts for hydration might suffice in the beginning, crafting a Water Still can provide a consistent supply of freshwater. A Water Still is a rudimentary but efficient contraption that uses sunlight and evaporation to separate salt and impurities from seawater, turning it into drinkable water. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps required to craft or build your Water Still in Stranded Deep.
The Water Still, sometimes called a water maker, is the most effective way to get water in Stranded Deep because it is the only constant clean drinking water source in the game. It will produce drinking water continuously for you by either capturing rainwater or by placing Palm Fronds or Fibrous Leaves underneath it. During storms that cause rainfall, you will not need to place anything underneath the water still for water collection or production. The rain will just become your source of drinking water at this point.
